press release

Baby Iron Teeth, multi story’s latest production for children aged 5+ and their families, has played in theatres and schools all over England, the Spark Children’s Festival in Leicester and five countries in South America!

So what’s it about? Well... poor Prince Ivan doesn’t talk, he can’t tell jokes and his parents have got a new baby. An extraordinary new baby.

Whoever heard of a baby born with iron teeth? A baby that hates mashed banana and loves meat – any sort of meat. A baby that doesn’t burble or gurgle but talks and walks and grows so fast that when she’s 6 weeks old she’s as tall as a tree.

How does Prince Ivan work out what to do about his monstrous sister? And who can help him? The strange singing gardeners or the dancing spiders? Maybe the giant who pulls up trees, or the one who crushes mountains? Perhaps the two old ladies who keep the world sewn together? Surely the Little Sister of the Sun will have a bright idea?

If you want to know what Prince Ivan decides to do you can join the adventure at ...

The production lasts about 55 minutes and is suitable for ages 5+. (Not advised for under 5’s).

This thrilling piece of physical storytelling for ages 5-11, based on a Russian folk tale, follows the adventures of young Prince Ivan who can't speak.

His baby sister not only speaks but is born with a complete set of iron teeth and an insatiable appetite!

Ivan escapes being eaten and with the help of some unexpected friends eventually returns home to confront his sister.

Multi Story use song, breath-taking physical transformations, rhythm and rhyme to tell their tale.  You'll meet gardeners, giants, spiders, a great black horse and the Little Sister of the Sun. They all try to help Ivan but how does he finally defeat the monstrous munching Baby Iron Teeth?
