dragon-fish is rooted in a traditional tale from Vietnam.
A brother and sister live by a lake. At the bottom of the lake lives the Dragon-King.
The brother and his sister quarrel the whole day through. He spends his time fishing with his imaginary friend Cibet. She spends her time trying to keep their home in order.
The brother and Cibet go on amazing underwater escapades together. But they never manage to catch a single fish.
What the brother does manage to hook, however, is the Dragon-King. This results in a massive flood, a journey into the Dragon's mouth and an encounter with the Dragon's daughter - the Dragon-Fish - that changes all their lives.
The production features colourful projection and an inventive use of sound technology to further the story-telling - as well as multi story's hallmark physicality.
The production has been playing in schools since October 2006 and is available for theatres from
the beginning of 2007
The production is for children aged 5 - 11 and their families.
