Use of song and the physical theatre, minimal set design very effective. Also the students LIKE technology.
An excellent, lively and entertaining piece - we loved it.Pilton Community College (yrs 7 & 10)
We all think you are stars! The children and staff just love hearing and sharing the stories you tell us. You have enriched many
childrens lives, thank you - see you next year!

You kept the children mesmerised for the whole performance. We just love the way you use the
minimum of props to suggest certain ideas, and the way that the children are able to engage with them perfectly well (filling in the
missing bits for themselves). It’s great to see that they don't need loud noises and sophisticated computer graphics to be "moved"
by something."

Every Multistory children's theatre piece interweaves traditional
storytelling technique with a fresh, uncompromising and non-patronising
style which keeps audiences of all ages spellbound. But with 'Tattercoats'
the company has really taken storytelling to a new level, integrating new
technology with a traditional tale in a quite breathtaking way.
Where other children's theatre companies struggle to keep the attention of a
young audience accustomed to computer games and loud, fast-moving animation,
'Tattercoats' takes the courageous step of relying on beautiful and
completely silent action for the first five minutes - in this theatre you
could have heard a pin drop for the whole of that time.
Controlling and guiding the audience with the same confidence and skill as
they pull and guide their virtual kite, Gill and Bill create a very special
world between myth and post-modernism in which the audience feel completely
comfortable - I cannot imagine any company doing it better.
