Pandora was warned not to open the box.

What could possibly be inside it that was so special? What wonderful gift? A gift to make her powerful? A gift to make her rich? A gift to make her happy perhaps?

Of course it was none of these things. Pandora opened the box and released a plague of evils to torment mankind: amongst them, disease, poverty, pain, misery and death.

Yet even so, all is not lost. Hope remains.

Pandora is a play for children about big ideas. About what it means to be human. What it means to integrate adversity into our lives. Where to look for hope. All presented with the sensitivity that goes with thirty years of writing and performing for children.

The production is suitable for children aged 5 - 11.
It serves as a wonderful introduction to a classic Greek Myth but also engages children with wider questions of who we are and how we live our lives. And of course it features the fine acting and inventive story-telling expected of a multi story production!
